Earlier I photographed the gerbera I purchased yesterday against the black armchair. I merged a photo of the chocolate heart (red) into the centre of the gerbera daisy and added a black background. Now I'm going to use Adobe Photoshop CS2 to create a frame and erase part of the frame to show parts of the photo appear to be 'out of bound'.
The image we are going to OOB.

Add the frame - notice the right hand side petals is hidden behind the frame.
What to do? Well, it's easier than you think. Just select the original layer and copy the area that you need to be visible over the top (below)
And then your photo is starting to appear 'out of bounds'.
Then if you want you can delete the bottom part of the original layer so that the gerbera stem disappears and crop to the dimensions you want.
