As a photographer with over 20,000 photos on flickr.com I often get asked for image use for commercial, personal or educational purposes.

If the request is education-based then I will usually allow it, with attribution.

If the image request is commercial I will often upload the image to Fotolia.com or OzStock Images Australia and let them choose which resolution to purchase and what type of license they require.

It is a good way to let your hobby start to pay for itself, even if in dribs and drabs - it is still nice to know someone values your work and it can help purchase filters and lenses, cases etc that you often need to replace or update.

Find me on FLICKR FOTOLIA OR OZSTOCK IMAGES AUSTRALIA
