Photographic exhibition of Samantha Everton and her Vintage Dolls. Every image is a mixture of the fantasy and reality surrounding young girls as they are swathed in the culture and expectation of the world around them. The images could almost be mistaken for painting, the details are so precise and such brilliant lighting. The images in Samantha's gallery force me to look at my own photography and see how far I still have to go. Every image is a story waiting to be read, each detail adds more context and leaves me wanting to see more. Previous exhibition galleries are just as enthralling. Anyone can take a photo but few tell a story so beautifully.
