Munch & Crunch Generation Urban garden is located at 23 Christina Street Wellington Point Brisbane Queensland Australia. They are running adult and homeschooling sustainability gardening workshops. I take part in their horticultural therapy program for anyone in need including NDIS clients. Bookings by their Facebook page are essential.
Recently we harvested some sage, made some lemongrass and turmeric tea (divine), transplanted some lemon balm (great for helping with IBS symptoms eg bloating, cramps, etc), and some African violets for colour. I had so much fun harvesting the sage. I love the smell and it makes a nice tea We also transplanted a small African violet plant for a friend in the Redlands hospital
Rebecca also makes the most divine lip balm made with Lindt dark chocolate and mint with beeswax from her own bees It’s amazing and really helps in winter. Go to her page for information, and news on the workshops she and her husband Matthew run plus they do homeschool sessions and other events.
Getting up at 5 am is so peaceful if you can do it. I’m amazed at how much of a green thumb I now have.
Rebecca from Munch & Crunch Generation came yesterday and dropped off some amazing vegetables and herbs, and some potted thyme, oregano and other plants.
Went to her urban garden yesterday – it was amazing! I’m returning on Thursday and will be doing some gardening workshops with Rebecca on Saturday. Visit her page for more information.

I’m with Rebecca of Munch & Crunch Generation enjoying the view of the Wellington Point Farm. The strawberries and pineapples look very healthy and the silverbeet and other plants are too. We enjoyed a coffee and cake in the cafe with a view of the farm. About to head to Munch and Crunch Generation Urban Farm for horticultural therapy.
