I was on the monorail with my Grandmother Barbara Hazelgrove who took this photo. We had an amazing time at Expo 88 over three days and I would have loved for it to be longer. I had my Expo 88 Passport and had lots of stamps as we visited all the exhibits we could fit in. My favourites were Thailand, Japan, New Zealand and Hawaii from memory. I had my first taste of green tea, watched a Thai couple dance in traditional costume, went up the ski lift, watched a Hawaiian show, enjoyed some Japanese culture and was just amazed with everything I saw. It made me want to be a globetrotter like my Grandmother Barbara Hazelgrove
